Sønderho Kro was built in 1722, the town's oldest building and one of Denmark's oldest inns. An Extension, in keeping with the old building, was added in 1977, closely supervised by the architect of the National Museum. The inn enjoys an exceptional position in the heart af Sønderho, a few metres from the dike, with views over marshland and sea. There is also a lovely garden where guests can drink and dine on hot summer days in the shade of tall trees.
Dining at the inn is an experience after the slow food principle. The chef only cooks with the best raw materials.
As a minimum open from Thursdays until Sundays. From April 1 till November 1 the inn is open every day. |
