Fanø Bad - a seaside resort with a long history.

Already in 1890  the Danish Tourism Board appointed Fanø Bad as Denmarks first international seaside resort. The fresh, salty water was good for health! A number of hotels and a sanatorium were established in the 1890'ies. As well as  the first golf course in Denmark.

The old hotels are long gone and new and modern hotels and apartments  have been build, surrounded by summer cottages. 

But Fanø Golf Links is still one of the most exciting golf courses in Denmark. 

The subtropical swim bath is also situated in Fanø Bad.
