Fishing on Fanoe means relaxation and experiencing nature. You can fish at the beach, from the fishing cutter or at Fanø Fiskesø.

On Fanoe you can fish from the sea or at the fishlake.

The three places on Fanoe with the best possibilities to fish in the sea are:

• Nordby, at the marina and further north of it
• Sønderho, at the fairway
• Fanø Bad, at Søren Jessens Sand. (Caution: Never go there if there is arisk of fog! If you get surprised by fog though, please stay at the sandbank, which does not get flooded, except during severe storms.)

Another exciting possibility is a fishing tour with the M/S Fanø. This excursion regularly arranges fishing trips to the closest fishing places. For further information please ask at the Fanø Tourist Office. You can also buy tickets here for the trips with the M/S Fanø.

Fanø Fishlake is situated right outside Nordby along the road to Sønderho. You can rent fishing gear, buy coffee - and most importantly: clean or even prepare your fish rigth on the spot.
