Wellcome to the Fanø Art Weeks 2012
which takes place in the period May 4th to May 20th. Many "part time" artists put part of their works on exhibition.
Of course Fanø Kunstmuseum and the "professional" galleries such as Madsens Galleri
and Galleri Vadehavet are open during the Fanø Art Weeks.

What is the Art Weeks?
We will try to draw attention to the art and the artists on Fanø. This tiny island in the Wadden Sea - with the very special light coming from the sea and the sky.
Hopefully many guests will come to Fanø to experience the island during Spring time.

Programme 2011
Friday May 20th at 1 pm:
Opening of the Fanø Art Weeks.
"Den Gamle Tømmerhandel", Hovedgaden 30, Nordby.
Thursday May 26th at 2 pm:
Vernissage with drawings made by children from the two Kindergarten in Nordby. Fanø Hallen, Stadionvej 13, Nordby
Sunday May 29th at 1 pm:
Concert with Marcela Lucatelli and her orchestra. The Bunker at Fanø Vesterhavsbad. Free admittance.
Wedneday June 1st at 9 pm:
Concert with Autofiction. Restaurant Ambassaden,Hovedgaden 57, Nordby. Free admittance.
Thursday June 9th at 9 pm:
Poetry Slam with Peter Dyreborg (in Danish) . Restaurant Ambassaden, Hovedgaden 57, Nordby. Free admittance.
Saturday June 11 from 13.30-14.00:
Concert with Autofiction. Fanø Biograf, Lodsvej 3, Nordby. Free admittance.
Saturday June 11 at 2 pm:
An auction is held with works from the various artists participating in the Fanø Art Weeks. Fanø Biograf, Lodsvej 3, Nordby.

Madsens Galleri
A gallery with works from Johnny Madsen and Troels Trier. Johnny Madsen has for years been a wellknown rockmusician. During the last years he has, however, also been a very successful painter.
